DLA Architects fostered an excellent understanding and working relationship with Zealong Tea to design and deliver a 3600sqm state of the art processing, packaging, administration support and visitor centre facility to accommodate their 30 New Zealand based staff. The inherent fusion of traditional tea expertise and experience coupled with the clean, green New Zealand landscape and environment was a unique opportunity to develop a building which has pioneered the benchmark for tea production and processing in New Zealand.
