Amos Jnr Gumbo

Architectural Graduate

Qualification: BArch(Hons)

Based in our Timaru Office Amos is a Graduate Architect working towards his registration.  Here at DLA we have a strong commitment to supporting and enabling our team members to keep progressing professionally, and Amos is working closely with Murray and Alice to gain the experience he needs for this next important step in his career.   

Amos enjoys the contact he has with our clients, listening to their needs and discussing ideas for design.  He appreciates the opportunities he has to work on a wide variety of architecture, creating designs, and preparing and producing technical drawings for commercial and industrial projects. He also enjoys site visits and working closely with contractors to ensure the best solutions for our clients are realised.  

Originally from Zimbabwe, Amos is fairly new to New Zealand, and with his young family he's enjoying getting to know the delights of Timaru and South Canterbury.  Any other spare time is taken up with cycling and doing DIY projects, and learning more about sustainable design and how technology is revolutionising the world of architecture.
