Alice I-Chen Wu

Registered Architect

Qualification: BArch(Hons), BAS, ANZIA

Alice joined our team in 2014 and has over 17 years' experience working in Timaru, Auckland and Taiwan. She has been involved in projects across multiple sectors, from highly crafted bespoke residential work through to commercial, retail, hospitality, heritage, education and healthcare. Alice’s most notable projects in recent years include the Timaru Airport extension, Timaru Hospital redevelopment and St Mary's Church seismic strengthening.

Alice is a calm, confident and focused maker of architecture. She enjoys the challenges of complex projects and approaches each project with care, compassion endeavoring to bring joy to the built environment. She sees each project as an opportunity to deliver design solutions that excite, and improve the experience of the people and communities who use and interact with the buildings.

As an experienced project lead, Alice plays a key role in the brief development, design and delivery of projects. Her level of technical and on-site construction experience has proven invaluable in collaborative large team environments, working with multiple stakeholders to develop practical and innovative solutions that achieve high levels of design and construction quality.

Alice is a mother of two boys and is a former New Zealand sporting representative in fencing. She recently moved from the Timaru office to the Auckland office.
